Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 30 October 2026Previous versions
This policy is available in English and Slovak.
1. Who sells, and who provides
1.1. Livuria is provided by FilFar Development s. r. o., Sibírska 7087/8, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia, IČO 56922639 ("Livuria", "we"). Company details: Legal Notice.
1.2. Paid plans are sold by Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle takes your payment, charges the applicable taxes, sends your receipts and invoices, and makes every refund; you can contact Paddle about any order. For anything about Livuria itself, including complaints and requests under our 14-day money-back guarantee, please write to us first at support@livuria.com: we deal with your request, and Paddle makes any refund. The Paddle company that sells to you depends on where you buy from: Paddle.com Inc. in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. in Canada, and Paddle.com Market Limited everywhere else. Your purchase is governed by Paddle's buyer terms, which you accept at checkout. Our Terms of Service govern your use of Livuria.
1.3. If you are a consumer, nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer law. Where Livuria is offered is set out in our Terms of Service (section 2.5). Consumers in Germany have their own rules (section 17). We don't offer Livuria in Québec (section 16).
2. The free trial
2.1. Every new Livuria account has one free 30-day trial, which starts when you register.
2.2. No payment card is needed, and there is no automatic charge when the trial ends. The trial never turns into a paid plan by itself.
2.3. The trial is a fixed period of 30 calendar days from registration, once per account. It doesn't pause, extend or restart, whatever you do with plans.
2.4. Before your trial ends, if your email address is verified and you don't have a plan yet, we remind you by email and in the app 7, 3 and 1 days before. In the last 7 days, the app also shows a banner.
2.5. When the trial ends and you don't have a plan, your account is limited until you choose one: you can't open, add or change your Areas and entries in the app. You can still sign in, export your data, manage your privacy and security settings, get help and delete your account; your content stays stored until you delete it.
3. Plans and prices
3.1. All plans include the same Livuria features. They differ only in how many people they cover, the payer included:
| Plan | People | Price per year, before taxes |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | 1 | €14.99 |
| Duo | 2 | €19.99 |
| Family & Friends | up to 5 | €39.99 |
Taxes for your country are added to these prices (section 3.2), and the total you pay is always shown before you pay (section 3.4).
3.2. Taxes. Paddle works out the applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) for your billing address and adds them to the price. In some countries Paddle asks for your postal code to do this.
3.3. Currency. In the United States, plans have fixed prices in US dollars: $14.99, $19.99 and $39.99 a year for Individual, Duo and Family & Friends, before taxes. Elsewhere, you pay the prices above in euros, or Paddle converts them into your local currency if it supports it.
3.4. The total you pay, taxes included, is always shown in Paddle's checkout before you pay. Paddle's checkout is in English.
4. Buying a plan
4.1. You choose a plan in the Livuria app (Settings → Plan & billing) and pay in Paddle's secure checkout, on our website. Next to Subscribe, the app tells you that the plan renews every year at its price until you cancel, and links our Terms of Service and this policy, which you accept by subscribing. We record which versions you accepted, and when.
4.2. Plans are billed once a year, in advance. You are charged when you buy, and your paid year starts at once.
4.3. Buying during your trial. Your paid year starts at purchase, even if your trial hasn't ended. Remaining trial days aren't added to your paid year. The app tells you this before you buy.
4.4. Paddle confirms your purchase by email, with your receipt or invoice.
5. Renewal
5.1. Plans renew automatically every year, on the anniversary of your purchase, until you cancel the renewal. At renewal, Paddle charges the payment method you used, or the one you set up later, for the next year. If you live in Germany (section 17), your plan continues after its first year for an indefinite period instead.
5.2. You can see your renewal date at any time in Settings → Plan & billing.
5.3. Price changes. A new price applies only from a renewal, and never during a paid year. We email you before it applies: if you live in the United States, between 28 and 21 days before; everywhere else, 30 days before. The email gives the new price and how to cancel; if you cancel before the renewal, you pay nothing more. Within 14 days after the renewal, our money-back guarantee still refunds it in full (section 10.2).
5.4. Renewal reminders. We email the payer 35 days and again 20 days before each renewal, with the renewal date, the price and how to cancel in one click. Paddle may also send its own reminder where the law requires one.
6. Changing your plan
6.1. Moving to a bigger plan (Individual to Duo or Family & Friends, or Duo to Family & Friends) applies at once. Paddle charges the price difference for the rest of your current year, and you can invite more people straight away. The app shows the amount before you confirm. A charge for an upgrade on its own isn't covered by our money-back guarantee (section 10.2). Close to your renewal date (for some upgrades, up to about seven weeks before it, because Paddle doesn't take very small charges), an upgrade can only be made after the renewal; the app tells you.
6.2. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal. Until then nothing changes, for you or for anyone on your plan. The people on your plan, including you and pending invitations, must already fit the smaller plan.
6.3. You can't change your plan while a renewal payment is overdue, while a cancellation is scheduled (choose "Keep my plan" first), or in the last minutes before a renewal is charged.
7. Cancelling your renewal
7.1. You can cancel your renewal at any time in Settings → Plan & billing → Cancel renewal. You can also cancel without signing in: the "Cancel contracts here" link on every page of livuria.com leads to a confirmation page, and you receive a confirmation by email straight away, with the date and time we received your cancellation and when your plan ends: its date where we can find your plan from the email address you give, otherwise we confirm the date afterwards.
7.2. You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, your plan ends and no further payment is taken.
7.3. Cancelling renewal doesn't refund the current period automatically. Within 14 days of your purchase or of a renewal payment, you can ask for a full refund under our money-back guarantee (section 10.2). Your statutory withdrawal and refund rights (section 9) are unaffected.
7.4. Until the end of your paid period, you can undo the cancellation with Keep my plan.
7.5. If a renewal payment has just failed, cancelling ends your access immediately, and the app tells you so before you confirm.
7.6. If you cancel through a link in an email from Paddle, the cancellation applies in Livuria as well.
7.7. Shared plans. Only the payer can cancel a Duo or Family & Friends plan. When it ends, the people on it keep their own accounts and content. Each of them returns to their own trial, if any of its 30 days remain, or needs their own plan.
8. Deleting your account
8.1. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
8.2. If you pay for a plan, deleting your account cancels it with Paddle straight away (if Paddle can't be reached, as soon as it can be), and your access ends at once. If you pay for a plan that covers other people, we ask you to confirm that the plan ends for everyone, and we tell them.
8.3. Payments made before you delete your account aren't refunded automatically. Within 14 days of your purchase or of a renewal payment, you can still ask for a full refund under our money-back guarantee (section 10.2), even after deleting your account: write to us, ideally from the email address you used for the purchase. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8.4. If a payment is collected after your deletion request, Livuria asks Paddle to refund it automatically.
9. Your right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK)
9.1. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you bought it, without giving any reason.
9.2. If you withdraw within the 14 days, our money-back guarantee refunds the full price (section 10.2). Without the guarantee, the law would allow an amount for the days your plan was active to be kept, but only if you had expressly asked for your plan to start before the 14 days ended and confirmed that you knew what this means for your right of withdrawal.
9.3. How to withdraw. Use "Withdraw from contract here", linked on every page of livuria.com and in the app's footer and Settings → Plan & billing; it works without signing in. You use it to send your withdrawal and then confirm it, and you receive an acknowledgement by email, with what you sent and the date and time you sent it. You can also use Paddle's own withdrawal option for customers in the EU, through the link in Paddle's purchase email or at paddle.net, or tell us or Paddle by any other clear statement, for example by email, or by using the model form in the annex. If you send it to us, we pass it on to Paddle without undue delay. You meet the deadline if you send your statement before the 14 days end.
9.4. Cancelling renewal (section 7) is not a withdrawal: it only stops future renewals.
9.5. After a withdrawal, Paddle refunds you within 14 days of your withdrawal, to the payment method you used, and your plan ends when the refund is made, for everyone on it (section 10.6).
9.6. Our money-back guarantee (section 10.2) is separate from this right, and adds to it: within its 14 days, we refund the full price, with nothing deducted for the days your plan was active.
10. Refunds
10.1. Refunds are made by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. To ask for a refund, please write to us first at support@livuria.com, ideally from the email address you used for the purchase: we deal with your request, and Paddle makes the refund. You can also contact Paddle about any order, through the link in your purchase email or at paddle.net.
10.2. Our 14-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 14 days of a payment for your plan, we refund that payment in full, taxes included, without needing a reason. This applies to:
- your first payment for a plan (the purchase);
- each annual renewal payment, including one paid late after a failed attempt.
The guarantee goes beyond what the law requires: it applies wherever you live, to renewals as well as to your first purchase, and nothing is deducted for the days you've used your plan.
How it works:
- How to ask: write to us at support@livuria.com (section 10.1). Writing from the email address you used for the purchase helps us find your payment quickly, but it isn't a condition.
- The deadline: the 14 days are counted from the day after the payment. What counts is when you send your request, not when the refund is processed.
- Who gives it: FilFar Development s. r. o. gives the guarantee, and Paddle makes the refund on our instruction, to the payment method you used.
- What happens to your plan: when a payment is refunded under the guarantee, your plan ends at once, for everyone on it (section 10.6).
- Upgrades: any upgrade charges you paid in those 14 days are refunded with it. A charge for an upgrade on its own isn't covered.
- Your other rights: this guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, including the right of withdrawal (section 9), and doesn't limit them.
10.3. You are also entitled to a refund in the cases the law provides, including a withdrawal (section 9), and where the Service is not as described or doesn't work and we can't put it right in a reasonable time.
10.4. Outside the guarantee and your statutory rights, we may consider a goodwill refund individually, at our discretion. A goodwill refund in one case doesn't create a right to one in another. Paddle makes every refund.
10.5. Apart from our money-back guarantee, the cases above and the refunds our Terms of Service promise (for example if we stop the Service), we don't give partial or prorated refunds for the unused part of a paid year, for example when you cancel your renewal or move to a smaller plan, except where the law requires one: for example under the Australian Consumer Law or New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act if the Service fails a consumer guarantee, or in Germany as section 17 explains. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
10.6. When the payment for your current year (your purchase or your latest renewal) is refunded in full, your plan ends at once, for everyone on it. Each person on the plan returns to their own free trial if any of its 30 days remain, and otherwise to a limited account (section 2.5). Refunding an upgrade's price difference on its own doesn't end your plan.
11. Failed payments
11.1. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle tries again automatically for up to 30 days. Meanwhile, you and everyone on your plan keep full access; you receive an email about the failed payment, and the app asks you to update your payment method.
11.2. You can update it in Settings → Plan & billing, in Paddle's secure checkout, or through the link in that email.
11.3. If the payment still fails, Paddle cancels the plan and its access ends.
12. Disputed payments
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card provider (a chargeback), or your card issuer reports it as possibly fraudulent, the plan it paid for is suspended at once, for everyone on it, while the dispute is open. If the dispute is resolved in our favour, access returns; automatic renewal then stays off until you choose Keep my plan. If it isn't, access stays suspended, and the plan ends at the end of its current period. Please write to us first: within 14 days of your purchase or of a renewal payment, our money-back guarantee refunds it in full (section 10.2). If you have already disputed the payment with your bank (a chargeback), the dispute decides whether it's returned to you, so we don't refund it twice; if the dispute ends without returning your money and you asked us within those 14 days, we refund it then.
13. Invoices and payment details
Paddle sends your receipts and invoices by email. To get an invoice again or change your billing details, use the link in Paddle's email or contact Paddle.
14. Complaints
14.1. If something about your plan isn't right, please write to support@livuria.com or call +421 914 284 915. We answer in English and Slovak. We confirm a complaint in writing without delay, tell you by when we'll deal with it, and answer within 30 days. If it concerns a defect in the Service, we put it right free of charge within a reasonable time, and at the latest within those 30 days; if we can't, you have the remedies the law gives you as a consumer, such as a price reduction, or ending your plan with a refund for the rest of the period you've paid for, made by Paddle. If we reject your complaint, we tell you why in writing. Questions about a payment can also go to Paddle (section 10.1).
14.2. If you are a consumer and we reject your complaint, or don't reply within 30 days of your sending it, you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body: see the Legal Notice.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes that affect your plan apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you about material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. A change of price follows section 5.3.
16. Québec
We don't offer Livuria in Québec, Canada, at the moment, so we don't sell plans to people who live there (Terms of Service, section 2.5).
17. Consumers in Germany
If you live in Germany, these rules apply to you instead of any contrary rule in this policy:
- After your first year, your plan doesn't renew for another fixed year: it continues for an indefinite period, billed once a year in advance, until you end it.
- You can then end it at any time, in Settings → Plan & billing, or without signing in on our public "Cancel contracts here" page (section 7.1), with effect at the end of the following month or, if you prefer, at once. Paddle refunds the part of the price for the time after your plan ends.
- Our 14-day money-back guarantee also applies to you.
